Our Story

Our dear late father, Mr. Martin Udosen, simply loved education and all it stands for. Though a village farmer, he resolved that all his children must know how to read and write. Despite having no steady source of income, he was always willing to spend whatever he had to ensure his children were properly educated. That humble investment produced professionals, entrepreneurs and nation builders across all spheres of life. It is upon this philosophy that the Martin Udosen Education and Human Development Foundation was established — a seed sown by a village couple that has grown beyond family into communities and the nation.

Director, International Partnerships and Development

Prof. Tony M. Udosen is a Professor of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery and a Fellow of multiple international surgical colleges including FMCS, FICS, FWACS, and the AO Fellowship. A prolific researcher and published author of both medical and Christian literature, he founded MUEF in 2009 out of a lifelong commitment to education, faith, and human development — values instilled by his late father, Mr. Martin Udosen.

To see that the less privileged has access to good and purpose-oriented education that can set them on the right path of their destinies in various fields of human endeavor.

Our Mission

To encourage qualitative education, hardwork and discipline through regular academic guidance, counselling and seminars for the young ones — and to inculcate in them the fear of God as the foundation for wisdom and true success.
